| Dragonheart: A New Beginning is set many years after the first DragonHeart. There is only one dragon left in the world, a dragon hatched from an egg found in the cave of Draco. The dragon, Drake (voice of ROBBIE BENSON) is kept down in a cellar in a monastery, because of fear over a prophecy that the world will be doomed by a dragon's heart when a twin-tailed comet is in the sky. Near the same place is an orphan stable boy, called Geoff pronounced Joff (CHRISTOPHER MASTERSON). Also within the movie there is the evil lord Osric (HARRY VAN GORKUM) plotting to overthrow the king (KEN SHORTER), a mysterious old man and youth (HENRY O and RONA FIGUEROA) from the Orient who came to "test the dragon", and an arrogant upper-class youth to confront Geoff. |
Directed by: Doug Lefler My Opinions:This movie is nothing like the original. I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. Kids would enjoy it but I doubt that adults and teens would want to see it again and again. |
